A proud moment for me.  Matt Newsome produced a tartan under my direction called “Browns of the South East / Hunting Brown”  to commemorate all the Scottish Americans in the SE USA with the last name Brown.  I petitioned the Chief of Clan Brown (Broun) for permission to have it adopted as an official sept tartan of the clan.  Here he is receiving the ceremonial swatch after accepting my request for favor.  “Browns of the South East / Hunting Brown” is forever a recognized sept of Clan Brown-AWESOME!!!!!!
